Ivy Omondi

Ivy is a dedicated professional currently employed at the Embassy of Kenya in Madrid.She holds a master's degree in peace, conflict, and security from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. Throughout her career, Ivy has been actively involved in volunteer work, supporting refugees, addressing gender issues, and advocating for LGBTQ individuals through her work with ONG Rescate and other organizations like missionaries of charity. In addition, she completed an internship at the United Nations Offices at Nairobi (UNON).

In 2021, Ivy participated as a research fellow in the RAUN program, collaborating with a teammate on a study for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) that focused on "Public-Private Partnerships and Their Potential to Combat Trafficking in Persons in a Post-Covid-19 MENA Region: A Victim-Centred Approach." Her dedication led her to join RAUN as a coordinator in 2022, where she excelled in supporting the program's activities.
