Martina Pardy

Martina Pardy is an early stage researcher and PhD candidate at the London School of Economics and Political Science. Martina holds a Master's degree in Economics from the Vienna University of Economics and Business (VUEB) and holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Social Sciences from the VUEB, and in International Business Administration and Chinese from the VUEB and University of Vienna. Her research is centered around the topics of economics and economic geography, with particular focus on income inequality, globalisation, regional structural change and migration.

​Martina participated in the RAUN 2018-19 programme. She and her team conducted research for the United Nations Development Programme on “Electoral Reform in Haiti: Ensuring Increased Women’s Participation and Representation”. 

Following this highly enriching experience, Martina decided to join the RAUN in a more permanent capacity, first as a peer+, mentoring a project on the "Successful implementation of SDG 11: Best Practices and Cases", and then joined the RAUN coordination team.
