His research, funded by the Generalitat de Catalunya, focuses on large-scale high-resolution seismic risk assessments.
He holds a Master’s degree in Earthquake Engineering from the prestigious Istituto Universitario di Studi Superiori (IUSS) in Pavia, Italy (2016-2018). He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from India (2008-2012).
His professional experience spans through India and Europe. Over the past 12 years, these include a research position at the University of Aveiro, funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) in Portugal, structural engineering consulting and management in Finland, an independent seismic hazard and risk consulting project, crowdfunding a publication through Kickstarter, and involvement in engineering projects and healthcare-related services.
He has published in peer-reviewed scientific journals, conferences, and presented his research at two editions of the World Conference on Earthquake Engineering.
He recently completed the research fellowship at the Regional Academy for the United Nations (RAUN) (2023-2024), where he assessed the global public health impact of contaminated medicines, focusing on national regulatory responses in India, The Gambia, Indonesia, and Uzbekistan. Following this positive and productive experience, he joined the RAUN team to support and help advance this empowering initiative.
